You have already found one or the other stone, and now you would like to give pleasure to others yourself? Nothing easier than that! Just find stones of any wearable size, get colors and ideas, and you’re ready to go.
Acrylic paints are best. They are relatively inexpensive and will even come out of your clothes if you spill them. 🙂
Since acrylic paints are not waterproof, you will need to finish your artwork with a layer of clear varnish.
Whether you want to work with acrylic pens or with brushes is entirely up to you. Without any experience, however, the pens are the easier option.
Please do not stick anything on the stones. Most of the time this won’t last long anyway, so all your work was in vain and the (plastic) parts are bad for the environment and the animals. Also, please use only stones and no other materials such as tiles. These can splinter and form sharp edges where animals and children can get seriously injured.
Please do not place your stones on vehicles, in shops or on private property (unless you know the owner) and if possible do not place anything directly on roads, railways or waterways. The risk of accidents is particularly high for children.
When you have finished your work of art, please write on the back of the stone the contact details for the finder and a short explanation of what he or she can and may do with it.
This can look like this:
Now you can expose your work of art in the city or wherever you want and wait for someone to find it, rejoice and let you know where they found it and what they did with it.
